Driver support group
Drivers' experience of road trauma has some unique qualities. You may be coming to terms with the fact that a person is injured or has died. You may be awaiting the outcome of a police investigation and court process. Other drivers can provide a supportive environment for you to talk about your experience.
Bereavement support groups
The process of grieving after being bereaved can be a long and isolating journey. Meeting other people who have been bereaved as a result of a road trauma can provide you with the opportunity to hear others peoples' experiences and contribute your own.
RTSTV is pleased to offer several support groups including one for parents of children who have died on our roads, and one for partners of those who have died.
Acquired brain injury support group
This group meets regularly to offer support to each other and share stories and ideas to assist the carers of those with an Acquired Brain Injury. This group is facilitated by one of our trained volunteers.
