Donations

Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. They can be made via cheque or postal order (payable to Road Trauma Support Team Vic), or credit card.

Memorial gifts

Road Trauma Support Team Victoria has memorial gift envelopes that can be offered to the family members and/or close friends of the bereaved. This thoughtful gesture in receiving donations through memorial gifts is greatly appreciated by the Road Trauma Support Team Victoria.

Volunteers

Volunteers have always played a significant role within RTSTV. Many of our volunteers have personal experience of road trauma. They know first hand what our clients may be experiencing in the months and years after a road collision. Our volunteers are carefully selected and trained for the following roles:

  • The Client Support Programme links trained Client Support Volunteers with interested clients to provide support and a listening ear.
  • Volunteer speakers share their accounts of road trauma, and the effects of road trauma on their lives to schools and community groups.
  • Volunteer speakers share their personal accounts and facilitate small groups in the Road Trauma Awareness Seminar.
  • Our support groups are co-facilitated by volunteers.
  • Fund-raising and promotional activities.
